- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Our first and only experience at Great Lakes Hospital was when we came home to find our dog dying, and our usual vet was already closed for the day. They were right around the corner, they worked us in with fifteen minutes notice, and very compassionately took care of our dog and of our family. I was impressed that they did not make any attempt to take financial advantage of the situation, they provided a lot of care for a very affordable price they quoted upfront, with no "upcharges" I've heard of vets doing in cases like this.
